Many other top WebDAV apps in iTunes that all do not have a thumbnail view. OwnPhotoCloud (Doesnt allow management, and syncs a thumbnail of every photo at once, my library is huge) Photosync (Doesnt allow management, its really more for just syncing.) This honestly seems like a case of me just not using the right keywords with my Google-fu, because I'll be blown away if this doesn't exist. A thumbnail cache would be a plus for faster browsing over time. The ability to move images and create new folders/albums. So until that happens I need to find an app for both iOS and Android that can allow me to do this through WebDAV. Why the Nextcloud devs cant just add a tumbnail view to the file explorer in the app is beyond me. Now of course I can always browse my albums in the file view, but then I do not get album previews, just a folder icon with the name, and when im in an album I just get the tiny thumbnail on the left with the name taking up most of the screen, this also sucks for browsing photo albums. The source code is available, and you can download the app on F-Droid. This still kind of sucks, I want to be able to have an album view. DAVx is designed to be an open-source project (GPLv3) from the very first beginning. The mobile app makes you pick a single folder for your photos, and it will display the flattened contents of that folder by date. Ghost Commander is released as an open source project, the first version was released 2009, as it progresses over the years, it gained. It works on small screens so as large tablet screens.

This is still not the case with the mobile apps. Ghost Commander is a lightweight native FTP client & a remote file manager android app, aiming to provide a full featured FTP client for Android devices. However, while the WebUI for Nextcloud is nice, simple, and I can browse whatever folder I want in the "gallery" view. So I think im switching my family over to nextcloud from Synology Moments. So I was suggested by someone else to check out Nextcloud again, as apparently there have been some changes that make the photo feature more useful. I was given a few decent options, I tried Piwigo, and removed it as soon as I saw that it requires My SQL because I do not want anything that uses a DB.
